| This FREE event is a
chance for teachers, other educators and students to meet and talk to
local environmental education providers, and to sample the many
programmes and activities on offer to Bedfordshire schools. |

Keynote speaker: Christine Walkden
Christine Walkden is best known for her own BBC series, Christine's
Garden, broadcast in 2007. She is the resident gardening expert on the
One Show, has presented BBC's Gardeners World and is a regular panelist
on BBC Radio 4's Gardener's Question Time. In addition to being a
horticulturalist, she is also a lecturer, trainer, tour leader, writer
and photographer. In 2010 the University of Essex awarded her an
honourary doctorate for services to horticulture. Her latest book,
No-nonsense Vegetable Gardening was published in 2011. |
